'New' Polk RM75, 5 home theater speakers

So here's the story;

I got these for my little brother (xmas present) only to find his father-in-law had bought and wired a (much cheaper) set into his basement. Since he opened the box and unwrapped the center channel (To see what they look like...) I can't return them. They are, however, basically new (minus one ripped plastic bag and some packing tape).

Good news? I got them on a black fridayish special. Amazon and New Egg have the same set listed at 150. I'm into them for 130.

Polk is awesome.  I have a very similar setup from them that I've owned for 5+ yrs now.  Mine came with a powered sub and I had to eventually replace the center channel (went with a larger Klipsch which I love also).  GLWS

Yeah. If you go out and buy a receiver and a self powered sub, you'd have a system better than most home theater in a box kinda things.

I've got a similar set-up from Klipsch...and it is amazing for how small (but heavy) the speakers look...

After taxes i may have some spending money left and if so i might be in the market for these. I just recently got a new sony receiver (7.1, 935 watt) and a new bad a** Klipsch 350 watt sub and now my old speakers just dont sound good enough , not to mention i am afraid i will blow them....

Yeah. You buy a sub (they show up on sale all the time) and a receiver you're golden.

Also, they're still around. Woooo money sitting around in my living room.
